This isn't exactly a show idea, but I do like the concept of before and after shots for the show. So, here's a little sneak peek of something I've been working on.
I found this great handmade dollhouse at a local shop in Brattleboro called Experienced Goods Home Furnishing on Elliott St. Here's some before & after shots.
I got the paper from this great little shop in Portsmouth, NH called
called Gus and Ruby Letterpress http://www.gusandruby.com/See below a video of Iyla - I think she likes her new doll house.
I love this room, wanted to leave a couple of walls shabby chic, but check out the paper on the floor here (under the queen and horse). Isnt' it lovley? I'm thinking of doing my bathroom in this one. Rock on queeny!
Hi Desha,
ReplyDeleteIt's been ages! Wanted to let you know that I love your blog, and Iyla is such a beauty (love her name too). Your life there looks so wonderful. It makes me long for places I've never been but only imagine.
Sending you and your family love, Elizabeth
Love, Love, Love the revamp on the dollhouse! I'm still doing a revamp on my place to be and unfortunately this Sunday's painting day. I may still try and swing by to drop off some digs and kidnap you for your keen interior decorating eye.
