On a Vermonter's "must have" list you will not find Dior or Chanel- instead, you'll find a healthy amount of flannel, fleece, wool, and Uggs on everyone's Christmas lists. Even at the very best restaurant in town the norm is jeans and chacos. Lord help me.
So, when I heard there was going to be a REAL fashion show in Brattleboro, I knew I had to be involved. It's a benefit for the Hospice, and the scale is pretty massive for our little town. Plans have been in the making for a YEAR. There are professional models, stylists and designers from Boston, New York, and of course, the Brattleboro area.I've been asked to be the "Red Carpet Hostess" and will be building hype and excitement for the event- interviewing people on camera and so on. It's going to be so much FUN!! What will I wear???
So, in honor of this joyous occasion, I'm going to focus on Fashion and Style for the next month. If you are a stylist, designer, or work in a related area, I'd love to hear from you this month. Until then, I challenge you beautiful Vermonter's- PUT AWAY the FLEECE this month!
Wild Night on the Catwalk will be November 19 from 6:30-11:00 at the Currier Center Putney School.
